Far, far away
I watch everyone move
But I move so slow

No one sees my moves & grooves
They observe, from a far

But I see it all
The cows & cattle,
Cats & dogs,
Beautiful blue birds,
bright but subtle

They find my branches to nest & snuggle
Bugs, but they don’t bug me
Waving in the wind; whichever way it tugs me
My leaves leave, & feed the land
So I can grow, so we all can grow
Come, come, come
Closer & closer
I’ll stand the test of time ’til time is over
Getting older, older
Taller & taller
From afar, I’m a tree, but not different from

you or me
I keep my post, watching the ground grow from

zero to civilization
Eternal.

Mother nature allows me to nurture our futures
Protect me, and I’ll reward your generations tenfold
I see all, no need for a blindfold
From afar, from a very far place
Come, come, come
Closer & closer
Or watch me back
From far, far… Away
